One of my all time favorite treats in the Fall — or anytime of year, really — is a tall stack of pancakes in the morning. I love getting creative with different toppings (my current favorite is this cinnamon almond butter from Jem Organics...a little pricey but sooo good).
But how do I jazz up the classic pancake with nutritious antioxidant goodness and a vibrant green color the whole family will love, you ask?
Matcha, of course!
Adding matcha to pancakes is so easy — literally just add a few teaspoons to your favorite recipe and that's it. Homemade recipes and boxed mixes work equally well. They cook up a wonderful shade of green and the slight grassy notes of the matcha just barely peek through.
